ALLSCHWIL, SWITZERLAND – 30 August 2007 – Actelion Ltd (SWX: ATLN) announced today the online publication in “The Lancet Neurology “ of the one-year results from a randomized controlled study evaluating safety and efficacy of miglustat (Zavesca®) in patients suffering from Niemann-Pick type C (NP-C) [1]. NP-C is an autosomal recessive genetic disease affecting children, juveniles and adults, characterized by progressive, severe and heterogeneous neurological manifestations, and reduced life expectancy [2]. Zavesca® is not currently licensed for the treatment of NP-C. |

Baxter's Advate Receives Room Temperature Storage Approval |

Compton, England, 29th January 2007 – Baxter Healthcare Ltd. today announced the approval of room temperature storage for Advate, the only factor VIII product processed without blood-based additives. The approval in the European Union allows for 2 months of room temperature storage within the approved shelf life of 24 months at 2° to 8°C. |
